I was hit by a mountaineer cycling on the 20th of november. There was a fracture in my hip joint and due to wanting to finish the semester, I opted out of surgery. My last x-rays showed some bone mending, but it is slow going. I am normally a very active person, outside more than not. Hopefully I will be cleared for 25 percent weight bearing status on thursday. I have been prettymuch stuck in bed for the last few weeks and I'm wondering how other people who have been through similar managed to not go stir crazy.

Tips?
Suggestions?
Words of wisdom?

Any help is greatly appreciated,
Egor

im sure blazing every day would help stay sane and have fun while doing it, as well as take soe pain away

Been reading almost a book a day, but I'm getting a bit claustrophobic from being confined indoors for such a long time.

Hrm... Are you able to leave your bed? If not, maybe have someone light some incense or a candle--It's not quite the smell of "the great outdoors" but it's a change of one sense that could help ya for a little while.

weed, masturbation, and for a more beneficial solution meditation.
